In August 2024, as part of an ongoing drive to further enhance transparency at the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), the NSTA launched a consultation on publishing operator names earlier in the sanctions process, as well as publishing decommissioning data, including a comparative table of performance.
The consultation opened on 29 August 2024 and closed on 31 October 2024. That consultation can be viewed here.
On 31 July 2025 the NSTA published a statement regarding the NSTA’s general policy approach to the publication of company specific information.
