The Government today unveiled its blueprint to create green jobs and slash emissions The Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) is supporting that by fully committing to helping achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and working with industry and providing guidance, benchmarking and thought leadership.
Hedvig Ljungerud, the OGA's Director of Strategy said: 'We welcome the commitment to carbon capture and storage and the increasing role of hydrogen in the Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy, and will continue working with industry and government to help reduce emissions'.
